MBRIS is designed to operates a resource management system to standardize marine biological resource information and systematically manage the dispersed data across various institutions (MFBiC, Marine Fishery Bio-resources Centers). It collaborates with specialized agencies and research centers for different marine biological taxa to establish and share a comprehensive marine biological resource information system.
